Account Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Account Manager to join the Specialist Division of Enva Scotland. This will be a full-time, permanent role based at our Paisley office. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful applicant will drive upselling and business development opportunities within an existing client base primarily within the Specialist Division working alongside the Sales team to deliver Enva`s key objectives and strategies for growth. The successful applicant will have customer relationship management skills, with experience in dealing with customers across a wide range of industries and types. 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Duties:

  • Undertake the role of Account Manager within the team focusing on an existing client base whilst developing relationships with inbound enquiries
  • Deliver the strategy of added value to accounts within the portfolio
  • Work closely with other departments within Enva to improve the delivery of our key objectives
  • Build relationships with key accounts
  • First point of escalation for customer issues and be a key interface between the customer and Enva Operations for service development and issue resolution
  • Conduct periodic customer service review meetings
  • Review customer management information for presentation both internally and externally to ensure consistency and quality of output
  • Monitor and report on increases/decreases in revenue and profitability for key accounts.

Retention:

  • Implement a robust retention strategy and manage key account contract renewals
  • Proactively address at risk customers ensuring that customer needs are met whilst maintaining an agreed level of profitability (including accounts whose revenue may be shrinking and accounts where contract price is no longer competitive).

Upsell:

  • Identify opportunities for additional services relevant and specific to their sectors
  • Record all comms to customers including proposals and quotations on the Enva CRM system

  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload for self and team 
  • High level of numeracy and literacy
  • In depth Sales and Business Development knowledge and experience 
  • Technical Solution Selling Skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with ability to communicate at all levels 
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Strong IT skills including use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • MS CRM knowledge and competency 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience working within a progressive Sales Team demonstrating high levels of competency
  • In depth technical knowledge and experience within the industry
  • Qualification in Chemistry or equivalent would be preferable.
