An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Advisor to join our Customer Service team based at our Linwood site. This is a permanent position covering 20 hours per week from Monday to Friday. 

Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, the successful applicant will provide an excellent level of customer service to all customers and handle all customer enquiries in a timely manner. 

Key Roles and Responsibilities will include:

  • Deal with all customer enquiries in a professional manner
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service to customers over the phone and in writing 
  • Resolve customer queries/complaints to customer’s satisfaction 
  • Update all relevant systems with accurate information, including supplier portals
  • Liaise with other areas of the business as and when required
  • Keep customers updated with the status of their request
  • Run customer/business reports as and when required
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team and share workloads
  • Cleanse customer records to ensure information is accurate and up to date. 

This is not an exhaustive list.  You may also be required to carry out any other duties as required by the business that you are qualified/trained in that meet the requirements of this role.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Computer literacy with a sound knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages is essential. 
  • Previous experience of working in a Transport or Customer Service department is desirable although not essential.
