A leading Recycling and Resource Management company collecting and processing in excess of 2.2m tonnes waste per year, providing a comprehensive waste collection and recycling service to Industrial, Commercial, Construction and local Authority customers. To deliver the continued expansion of our National division we now require Business Development Managers operating in the Construction and associated sectors.

We are looking to recruit two National Business Development Managers to deliver new business growth in the construction, housing and construction product sectors across the UK.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Build and maintain pipeline to deliver new business sale in line with the company’s budgeted targets
  • Meet targets for new revenue growth
  • Build and manage client relationships to build a reputation for excellent service and generate repeat business.
  • Constantly promote the highest level of customer care, service and responsiveness
  • Advise clients on best practice in line with the waste hierarchy and implement circular economy principles
  • Schedule regular meetings with key account customers to ensure excellent communication
  • Ensure both the company and clients adhere to contract terms
  • Encourage and maintain safe, compliant processes both internally and externally
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. sales, operations, HSEQ, finance) to meet customers’ requirements
  • Promote the MyEnva portal as well as developing and updating client related reports to demonstrate value
  • Maintain complete and accurate customer information in Enva’s customer database
  • Handle client issues in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Account manage customers using e.g. reportage and achievement of KPI’s, SWMP requirements, risk assessments, SHEQ, partnership solutions which minimise costs through increased efficiency and innovative offerings
  • Assist Supply Chain Management with Supplier Duty of Care auditing as required
  • Recognise and optimise the opportunities to up-sell customers across all product groups
  • Assist credit control function to settle queries and manage aged debt of customer portfolio

About You

The successful candidate will have proven sales experience with regional or national accounts. You will be able to demonstrate that you have a record of achieving / exceeding targets. A self-confident, results driven individual, you will possess excellent communication skills and be able to manage and prioritise your workload effectively.  Construction experience or experience in a related industry would be advantageous.
