To arrange waste oil collections in the most efficient and cost-effective way throughout the Republic of Ireland while keeping the drivers compliant with the working time act.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Primary Duties, Routing

  • To route all Waste Oil trucks/tankers daily in the most cost efficient and effective manner possible
  • This would be carried out in the following way:
  • Review the routing reports daily to decide on the destination of the truck
  • Arranging for call back or service calls to effectively service the area and optimise the capacity available
  • Printing the relevant paperwork and communicating with the drivers or depots on collections
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service at all times to our customers (typically within 3 – 5 working days)
  • To route all independent hauliers where required
  • Review and check our internal systems to ensure all drivers are logging on and that the most efficient route is taken
  • Anaylse work carried out the previous day to determine results and speak to drivers on the performance if needed
  • Daily review service days and truck efficiencies and report on same
  • Deal with incoming calls in a polite, efficient and friendly manner
  • Input all data relating to calls in a timely and efficient manner and in accordance with the standard procedure (i.e. accurate information regarding pricing, compliance etc.)
  • Deal with and respond to all queries from drivers and independent hauliers
  • Develop and maintain an efficient call back system and liaise with the sales team and Service Manager as required
  • Suggest and implement continuous improvements to increase the efficiency of the service department.
Vehicle and Driver Administration
  • Monitor drivers driving hours and work time in accordance with the regulation and report to the Service Manager as required (training to be provided
  • Assist in truck maintenance by ensuring that truck / vehicle check sheets are been completed and logged
  • Compile Vehicle maintenance records and to report to the Service Manager
  • Liaise with the HSE Coordinator regarding driver training
  • Monitor and manage the receipt and close out of all required and relevant paperwork from drivers
  • Manage and update internal system on a regular basis.
• To act courteously and communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, Enva personnel and other personnel encountered within your role
• To foster and always develop good customer and public relations and to portray a professional image of the company
• To report for work in a timely manner and to conduct work as scheduled to company and customer satisfaction
• To work within the instructions and procedures of the Company’s systems as directed by your Manager or other management as appropriate
• To conduct all duties in a constructive and productive manner aligned to the interests of the company and management
• To act diligently and professionally in the interests of the Company
• To demonstrate a willingness to promote the positive development of the business to all stakeholders of the business including customers but also extending to staff, contractors, EPA, HSA etc.
