Due to continued business expansion, Enva, a leader in Hazardous Waste, Water and Wastewater and Laboratory services is broadening and investing in its CCTV surveying division.

The latest addition to the fleet is a RAUSCH Ecostar 400 camera system supplied by UTS, the EX rated system has a pipe diameter range of 75 mm to over 2,000 mm and a fully automatic cable reel with 400 m of cable.

The system includes two Crawlers and two Pan, Tilt and Zoom Cameras as well as the Rausch Pan & Tilt Delta Push Rod system. This Rausch system includes such features as Laser measurement and 3D pipe profiling, manhole inspection and lateral inspection from the main pipe. The Rausch M-series is fully modular which means that ENVA is in a position to quickly add functionality to the system in order to meet all its customer’s needs. The on-board reporting is carried out using Wincan.

“We are very pleased with our new Rausch system. It has allowed us to enhance our service offering to our customers. We carefully considered all the systems available to us but in the end the Rausch system was the one that stood out. It has a very robust design and there are also several technical features that enhance our service offering.” said Ger Cotter, Business Development Manager with ENVA. “We have earned a strong reputation for reliability and completing complex projects on schedule for our clients and this new addition bolsters our commitment to our customers.”

“This was a very enjoyable project for UTS, the CCTV team at ENVA had a very clear vision regarding what this new CCTV vehicle needed to do for them. We were very pleased to be in a position to deliver a system and vehicle fit-out that met all their needs. The attention to detail in the construction of the van interior at the Rausch factory in Germany is second to none.” said Mike Sheehy, Managing Director at UTS, further adding, “We would like to thank ENVA for choosing UTS and Rausch and wish them all the best with their new Rausch Van.”

The acquisition of this unit further enhances Enva’s role in the provision of CCTV Drainage surveys. Enva can also carry out any rehabilitation works required following the survey which would include such services as patch repairs, relining of pipes, lateral cutting and pressure testing of lines services.
