Enva Acquires GP

Enva, a leading provider of end-to-end waste management solutions in the UK and Ireland, today announces that it has acquired GP Green Recycling Limited for an undisclosed sum.
GP Green Recycling, based in Blantyre, South Lanarkshire, is one of Scotland’s largest recoverers of organic wastes, recycling organic waste materials into a soil conditioner and high-grade compost certified to British Standard PAS 100.
This latest acquisition will be integrated into Enva’s Scottish Industrial and Utilities division, which is led by Graeme McDonald, Managing Director. The founder of GP Green Recycling Mr Jim Gilchrist will retire following the sale.

The business operates in a niche segment of the environmental marketplace, serving local authorities and landscaping contractors providing circular economy solutions.
The final product is a high-quality organic compost which has a wide and diverse range of applications including golf courses, gardening projects, landscaping works, large land remediation, mine restoration where land is restored to its previous state and tree planting.
