Enva motors away with recycling contract for LSH Auto

LSH Auto, a member of the Lei Shing Hong Group, the operator of Mercedes-Benz dealerships across the Midlands and North West, has recently appointed Enva to provide hazardous and trade waste management services across their 8 sites. This includes their state-of-the-art, flagship site in Stockport which is one of the largest Mercedes-Benz retailers in Europe. 
 
Enva has been the sole supplier for hazardous workshop waste management services across the LSH Auto estate but under this expanded arrangement, Enva will now manage and coordinate the trade waste disposal requirements as well. Recognised for their commercial, operational and environmental planning, this contract award sees Enva advance its position at the forefront of waste and recycling services for the UK automotive sector.
 
Commenting on the agreement, Enva’s National Sales Director, Trevor Lawlor, said: “As soon as we became aware of the potential to add value, streamline and update operational waste management activities whilst also increasing the recycling footprint for this group, we were determined to be the partner of choice for LSH Auto. We believe that we can make a difference and be considered as a valued supplier over the term of this engagement. Enva’s provision to the Automotive sector is already extensive and enables waste to be recycled into new products – either as secondary materials in manufacturing or they are reused in sustainable energy generation. Annually, this equates to 1.2m tonnes of raw materials recovered from waste and saves 308,000 tonnes in CO2 emissions. This is equivalent to offsetting over 96,860 tonnes of fossil fuels or approximately 743,044 barrels of oil - that’s around half of the oil consumed on an average day across the whole of the UK.
