Enva Unveils Plans for New Fridge Recycling Facility for London & South East

State-of-the-art facility to enhance the region’s recycling capacity by 2026

Enva has announced plans to further expand its fridge recycling capability with the construction of a new state-of-the-art facility, capable of processing 35,000 tonnes per year, to serve London and the South East. The recycling and resource recovery specialist will provide more details on its plans in the coming weeks, and it expects the facility to be operational in the second half of 2026.

Barry Phillips, Managing Director for Fridges, WEEE & Glass at Enva, stated: “We’re excited to bring the latest fridge recycling technology to London and the South East, providing much-needed additional processing capacity. This development demonstrates Enva’s commitment to executing its long-term growth strategy and investing in the latest technology to safely and sustainably process end-of-life fridges while realising their commercial and environmental value."

This development further strengthens Enva’s market-leading position across the UK, after recent new plant builds in Perth, Scotland and Toomebridge, Northern Ireland, in addition to existing fridge recycling facilities in Grantham and Stourbridge in England.
