Enva Plastics recycling operations back to full capacity

As lockdown restrictions continue to ease, we are pleased to confirm that Enva Plastics are now back to full production capability and able to provide customers with consistent volumes of high-quality recycled Polypropylene (PP), Polystyrene (PS), High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) and Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS). We are also delighted to now be supplying a light grey, green PS stock as well as off white PS – ideal for use in a range of product and packaging applications.

During these challenging times, the significant cost savings that can be delivered through substituting virgin materials with recycled polymers have become even more important.

For our customers, the realisation of recycled polymer’s commercial and environmental benefits can be almost immediate.  Recycled polymer has no impact on product quality and can be substituted into existing processes without the need for equipment modification or lengthy testing periods.

Looking ahead to April 2022, the use of recycled polymer will also enable our customers to meet the government’s 30% recycled content threshold for plastic packaging and avoid the Plastic Packing Tax which looks likely to be set at a rate of £200 per tonne.

We expect high demand for these materials over the coming months.  For more information on recycled materials to suit your needs please contact our Compounds Manager Chris Cutts - chris.cutts@enva.com.

Enva is one of the UK’s leading recyclers of waste plastics. Specialising in small household appliances, (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Recycling - WEEE), Enva creates the highest quality compounds and recycled polymers for use in the manufacture of new components and products, diverting as much waste plastics as possible from landfill.
