Air and surface disinfection systems are deployed where there is a risk of contamination by airborne micro-organisms such as viruses, bacteria and fungi. Our UV-C and AFT disinfection solutions subject the air and surfaces to UV-C light which destroys up to 99.9% of all micro-organisms present, depending on the dosage.
Continuous air disinfection is a key measure to prevent the spread of micro-organisms and viruses. Improving the indoor air quality can improve overall wellbeing of inhabitants, increase productivity and reduce absenteeism. With the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, UV-C solutions are playing an ever-increasing role in solving these major challenges.
Partnering with UV Technology Global (UVTG), we provide an innovative range of air and surface disinfection systems for industry, hospitals, laboratories, institutions, offices and schools, for safer and cleaner environments, energy savings and reduced HVAC maintenance costs.

Air conditioning and heating in commercial facilities can account for approximately 50% of all operating costs, and inefficient ventilation systems can result in high energy consumption and maintenance. Active Field Technology filtration systems can reduce your air conditioning and heating up to 70% delivering significant savings.
UVc and AFT are widely accepted as effective technologies in providing effective kill rates for viruses, bacteria and spores. Viral inactivation is actually more rapid than bacterial or spore inactivation as the virus is a smaller simpler organism. Hepa filters, and filters in general, are ‘passive’ barriers in that they collection particulates e.g. bacteria, mould spores, of a greater size than the filter pore size. In contrast, AFT provides ‘active’ disinfection of up to a log 5 kill rate of airborne microbial organisms.
AFT HVAC solutions can be custom made and retrofitted to existing ventilation systems, and ideal for shopping centre, hospitals, hotels and office environments. The solution has the added benefit of being a Green technology in line with CSR programs (supportive of LEED and BREEAM certifications).
Data Centre organisations can benefit from a move from Hepa filters to AFT technology in their HVAC systems. In the high energy demand environment, moving to AFT technology has associated reduction in pressure and energy demands on the HVAC system. Banks of Hepa filters in the HVAC system can be replaced with lower rated filters with potential 61% energy saving.
Pharmaceutical companies also seek to benefit from the alternative technology. Hepa filters can be ineffective in capturing airborne virus, such as the Corona virus, due to the mesh being larger than the virus.
One solution a business may trial to combat the filter constraints is to bring fresh air through the AHU’s rather than recirculating air within the building. However, this is energy and cost intensive, particularly during the winter months when there is increased demand.
With our partners UV Technology Global (UVTG), Enva provide a range of HVAC/ AHU air decontamination solutions. In addition to HVAC, UV-C can also be applied to cooling coils, to ensure an efficient operation. Contact us for further information and supporting data.

Active Field Technology (AFT) destroys all pathogens by passing air through a disruptive electron field. Significantly reducing airborne microbial risk by providing disinfected fresh or recirculated air into a specific area. The technology draws the same power as a 40W domestic light bulb, supportive to AFT being one of the greenest technologies.
The technology is versatile and can be installed in many sectors and applications:
