Flocculants and Coagulants

Flocculants and Coagulants for Wastewater Treatment

Effective liquid-solid separation is critical to wastewater treatment performance. Enva supports customers with the selection and optimisation of flocculants and coagulants for filtration, sludge dewatering, clarification, settlement and effluent treatment processes.

Envirofloc

Our Envirofloc range includes high-activity inorganic coagulants, low molecular weight polymers and high molecular weight polyelectrolyte flocculants. These products are designed to improve the efficiency of wastewater treatment processes by increasing floc formation, settlement speed, filtration performance and sludge dewatering efficiency.

By coagulating colloidal material and suspended solids into larger flocs, Envirofloc products help improve throughput, yield, separation efficiency and overall plant reliability.

Available in both cationic and anionic formulations, Envirofloc products can be tailored to a wide range of industrial and municipal wastewater applications.

  • Improve floc formation
  • Increase settlement rates
  • Enhance filtration performance
  • Improve sludge dewatering
  • Increase plant throughput
  • Improve treatment efficiency

Role of Flocculants in Wastewater Treatment

In this guide, we fully examine their role in waste water treatment, detailing what they are, what they are used for, and how they work. We’ll also outline how flocculants differ from coagulants, another common class of waste water treatment chemicals. Read more:
