Heavy Metal Removal from Wastewater

Heavy metals can be present in wastewater from a wide range of industrial processes and are often controlled by strict discharge licence limits.

Precip

The Precip range is designed to react with heavy metals in solution and form insoluble precipitates that can be separated and safely disposed of as solids. These products support industrial wastewater treatment programmes where selective metal removal is required.

Through laboratory testing, our technical team can identify the nature and level of metal contamination, determine the optimum pH range and recommend the most suitable Precip product and treatment regime. In appropriate applications, residual metal levels of less than 0.1 ppm can be achieved.
