Closure of Rilta/Clearcircle NI Acquisition

Enva is pleased to announce that they have completed the acquisition of RILTA/Clearcircle NI after the recent approval of the transaction by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC).
RILTA/Clearcirlce NI provides hazardous and specialist waste services to clients across the commercial, industrial, construction and local authority sectors in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The business operates waste processing facilities in Dublin and at Toomebridge, County Antrim. Founded over 40 years ago, RILTA/Clearcircle NI employs 130 people.
The CCNI site in Toomebridge operates the only WEEELABEX compliant plant for processing waste fridges on the Island of Ireland, with a run rate of c.10,000 tonnes per annum. It also operates the only licensed glass processing facility within Northern Ireland with c.50,000 tonnes of glass processed for reuse by manufacturers in 2018.
The combination of Enva and RILTA/Clearcircle NI creates the leading provider of hazardous and specialist waste services in Ireland. The expanded offering and scale of the combined business will give customers enhanced access to local and export treatment and recovery solutions.
