Enva solution is the icing on the cake

Since being awarded a 3-year contract in February 2021 Enva has been developing a solution for Mathiesons which has enabled the traditional Scottish bakery to streamline its waste management set up and reduce costs while also eliminating the manual handling risks associated with the previous service.

Our dedicated account management team has worked closely with Mathiesons to understand how the facility operates and develop a solution that is both highly efficient and safe. One of the main innovations was the sourcing of a free-standing tipper, which removed the need for bins to be manually tipped.  The account team worked with the manufacturer on the free-standing tipper to develop the bespoke equipment which has subsequently been implemented for other customers. 

Installation of a larger compactor has increased the waste storage capacity on site meaning less collections are now required. This has reduced costs while also cutting fuel and the associated emissions.

To ensure improvements continue to be made, Enva’s account management now provide Mathiesons with current and accurate data as part of their monthly reporting. A single point of contact for the customer enables them to build up a detailed understanding of the customer’s business and ensures the timely resolution of any service issues that should arise.
