Our business

Enva was born out of the acquisition by Exponent Private Equity and others of the Environment Division of DCC Plc in June 2017. The business has consolidated the old DCC brands under the Enva banner enabling the business to achieve both operational and commercial synergies across our key markets. It also ensures that the scale and diversity of the Enva proposition is apparent to all of our customers and target markets. The business has undertaken a number of acquisitions since it was acquired by Exponent. These acquisitions have focussed on deepening Enva’s capability and expertise in recovering valuable resource from specific waste streams.

As a leading provider of waste management and resource recovery solutions, Enva operates across 34 facilities in the United Kingdom and Ireland, employing over 1600 people. We manage a broad range of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials from industrial, commercial and municipal customers and create valuable products for re-use in manufacturing and energy conversion. We deploy this dedicated network of facilities and trusted partners to support our customers in dealing with the full range of their waste management and resource recovery challenges.

With sustainability at the forefront of our proposition, our vision is to work in partnership with our stakeholders to help protect and preserve the world’s finite resources.
