Recycling scrap metal is sustainable, diverting valuable material from landfill. Both ferrous and non-ferrous metals are recyclable. Ferrous Metals are usually magnetic, and will typically contain iron, alongside properties of other metals. They are also very susceptible to corrosion, so it is important they are disposed of responsibly. Non-ferrous metals do not typically contain iron and are non-magnetic. They have a high resistance to corrosion and are considerably tougher than ferrous metals.
Enva collects and recycles scrap metals from both trade and domestic customers or alternatively it can be delivered directly to one of our facilities.
