Enva, a leading Waste, Water and Industrial Services company today announced the sale of its Microbiology Laboratory Business to Advanced Laboratory Testing Ltd (ALT). This move will allow Enva to focus on the continued growth and development of their core waste management, water and industrial services sectors.
Simon Dick, Managing Director of Enva, said “We are pleased to sell our microbiology laboratory to ALT. While the business has performed strongly for us in recent years, it will flourish under the focused leadership of ALT. This move allows us to focus on our own core waste management, water and industrial services sectors, where we see significant growth opportunities in the years ahead.”
ALT, based in Co. Kildare, is wholly Irish owned and is Ireland’s fastest growing laboratory currently offering accredited Microbiology, Food Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry and Veterinary testing services. Given this core focus, ALT is well positioned to continually develop new and improved testing services and focus on excellent customer service.
Billy Coleman, CEO of ALT commented, “ALT is delighted to announce the acquisition of Enva’s Microbiology Laboratory business. It is an excellent and well managed business and will fit neatly into our current infrastructure. ALT is the only Irish owned Laboratory group in Ireland that has all island service levels and this purchase is a further demonstration of ALT’s commitment to servicing the Food Industry on the island of Ireland. It is an exciting time in ALT as we continually expand our service levels, laboratory infrastructure and presence throughout the entire island. With Brexit fast approaching it is vital that the Food Industry in Ireland has access to laboratory services that are located indigenously on the island and ALT are fully committed to providing these services.”
