Ferrous metals are usually magnetic, and will typically contain iron, alongside properties of other metals. They are also very susceptible to corrosion, so it is important they are disposed of responsibly.

Non-Ferrous Metals

Non-ferrous metals do not typically contain iron, are non-magnetic substances, and have a high resistance to corrosion. Though they are considerably tougher than ferrous metals, it is still a priority to ensure they are recycled swiftly for maximum re-usage.
