Domestic skip hire during COVID-19

In line with the UK governments classification of waste management as a critical service, Enva is continuing to supply skips to domestic customers. This service is, however, subject to increased precautions to ensure the safety of our customers and our employees. Please note the following prior to ordering a skip via our online service or telephone ordering;   

  • Householders should not interact with collection or delivery drivers, and in all cases should observe the 2-metre rule
  • Customers are advised to remain in the property when a skip is being delivered/collected, paperwork will be placed in the letterbox and no signature is required  
  • Cash orders are not accepted during government restrictions - telephone payments can be made by credit or debit card, or you can order online
  • Customers are asked to confirm whether they are self-isolating due to either themselves or someone within their household contracting the virus. This can be notified at the time of order, or if your status changes after the order is placed, please contact us as we cannot deliver or collect a skip during this time, but we can rearrange for a future date.
  • All skips will be collected 3-4 days after they have been filled, this is to reduce the risk of our employees who are collecting or sorting the waste contracting the virus from the waste within the skip
