Enva revealed amongst Britain's leading private companies

Enva has claimed 85 position in this year’s Sunday Times PwC Top Track 250 league table, which ranks Britain’s leading mid-market private companies with the largest revenues.

Enva’s listing saw them recognised alongside many other companies that responded positively to the Coronavirus pandemic. These businesses included Warburtons (No 22), the family-owned baker, which donated 20,000 items a week to food charities and half a million pounds to local community groups; and Gymshark (No 67), the fitness clothing retailer, which raised more than £200,000 for the Birmingham Women’s and Children’s hospitals.

As well as tailoring its services and adapting is production capabilities and supply chain to meet the needs of customers during Covid 19, Enva also supported the wider community by, amongst other activities, donating 24,000 bottles of sanitising product to nursing homes.

Overall, the top 250 companies combined this commitment to social responsibility with outstanding commercial performance with combined sales of £59.7bn, a 17% increase year-on-year, and profits of £5.1bn, up 25%.

Commenting on Enva’s listing our CEO, Tom Walsh, said: “Our recognition in this year’s Sunday Times PwC Top Track 250 is testament to the effort of our whole team. It also reflects the support we have received from customers and suppliers through these most challenging of times. Despite the economic headwind we look forward to continuing our growth and hopefully climbing the table again in 2021.”

Arif Ahmad, a Private Business Partner at PwC UK, the title sponsor of the league table, said:

“There’s no doubt that 2020 has posed unprecedented challenges. But time and again, we’ve seen business leaders rising to that challenge, adapting their plans and taking the opportunity to innovate. This year, it’s more important than ever to recognise and congratulate the companies featured in the Top Track 250. They are the backbone of the UK economy and it’s our pleasure to work with them, at every stage of their journeys.”
