Enva supports next generation of hurlers and footballers

Enva are delighted to announce their sponsorship of the Laois GAA development squads for the next three seasons, supporting the next generation of hurlers and footballers. The sponsorship will see Enva supporting Laois juvenile teams from U-13 to U-16.

Richard Kennedy, Director, Waste Services in Ireland, said, “We’re delighted to come onboard with Laois GAA in the support of the development squads for hurling and football for the next 3 years. We’re locally based in the town of Portlaoise for the last 40 years and we pride ourselves on the development of new people coming into our business, so this fits very well with what we’re trying to do. We look forward to getting behind the players and our county for years to come.”

Laois GAA chairman Peter O’Neill thanked Enva for coming on board. He said: “Laois GAA are thrilled to have Enva sponsoring our Underage Development Squads. With Academy and Divisional competitions to be planned for both football and hurling, the future of football and hurling will be bright for Laois GAA. Thanks to the kind support of Enva.”

Through our social value commitments, we are making a positive impact on the communities in which we operate. Over and above our environmental responsibilities, we are acutely aware that we have the ability both to realise value in our own operations and also support our supply chain, customers and other stakeholders in wider value creation.
