Successful project completion for INEOS

Our Industrial & Utilities Division recently completed a highly successful site clearance project for INEOS, one of the world's largest manufacturers of chemicals and oil products, at its Grangemouth facility just outside Falkirk.
The project involved the removal of over 370 loads totalling approximately 6700 tonnes of material, including soil and stone, tar, concrete and inert waste. This material was then reused in restoration sites.
Commenting on the success of the project, Commercial Manager, Donald McIntyre, said: “Whilst INEOS has been a customer for some time now, this is the first project of its kind that we’ve carried out for them. The excellent level of service delivered by our team has once again demonstrated our capability as a company and the strength of our land services offering in particular.”
Enva operates a fleet of 12 tippers and specialises in all aspects of soil removal including contaminated land as well as supplying recycled and quarried sand and aggregates.
Grangemouth represents INEOS’ largest manufacturing site by volume of products and is also home to Petroineos, Scotland’s only crude oil refinery. The company’s world-scale petrochemical plants make around 1.3 million tonnes of product per annum including ethylene, propylene, synthetic ethanol, and polymers: polyethylene and polypropylene.
