The successful candidate will play a key role in our finance team in terms of managing the Accounts Payable function across Enva Ireland. The successful candidate will be an individual who possesses a positive “can do” attitude, is flexible and has excellent communication skills. 

The position will involve the following main duties: - 

  • Guiding, managing the Accounts Payable team, embedding best accounts payable procedures whilst optimising efficiency
  • Providing strong leadership and development for the AP team
  • Overseeing the accounts payable inbox, ensuring timely and accurate management by the accounts payable team
  • Dealing with suppliers in a timely manner for all invoice/statement queries
  • Ensuring key supplier reconciliations are performed monthly
  • Processing bank transfer/foreign currency payments
  • Reconciling intercompany accounts on a monthly basis
  • Ensuring the monthly payment runs operate to a tight deadline and posting all payments to the purchase ledger
  • Providing supplier payments forecast for weekly cashflow forecast
  • Ensuring adherence to the month end close schedule within accounts payable
  • Setting, tracking & improving accounts payable KPIs and escalating where appropriate
  • Participating in new ERP development project

Requirements: 

  • 3rd level accounting qualification desirable
  • Microsoft Dynamics Nav or similar ERP experience an advantage
  • Minimum 3 years accounts payable experience is essential in a high-volume environment
  • Prior team management experience is desirable
  • Excellent computer literacy with strong working knowledge/ experience in Excel essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent numeric and organisational skills
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines in a timely and efficient manner
