Head Recycling Operative

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Recycling Operative to join our Operations team based at our Newbridge site. This is a full time, permanent position. 

Reporting to the Yard Supervisor, the successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring relevant waste is separated as per its stream and that all recyclable elements are recovered.

Key Roles and Responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and optimising the daily picking operations 
• Managing a weekly maintenance schedule
• Working the picking line
• Ensuring quality and recovery rates are maximised
• Sorting construction waste stream
• Picking the selective materials from a moving conveyer
• General duties throughout the facility

The right candidate will demonstrate:

• Willingness to undertake physical duties
• Good time management skills
• Ability to operate vehicles and machinery in a safe manner would be advantageous.

Salary and Benefits:

• Earn £25,708 per year
• Overtime at £15.45 per hour
• 48 hours per week
• 26 days holiday + 4 statutory days
