Enva currently employs nearly 1,500 staff, with 370 employees working across 8 locations in Ireland (RoI & NI). The successful candidate will provide administrative and project support to the HR Manager Ireland in managing the overall provision of HR activities, projects and initiatives for the Island of Ireland business, to include but not limited to communication, recruitment, selection and retention, on-boarding, learning and development, employee engagement, employee wellbeing and employee training.

 HR Duties & Responsibilities:

  • End to End Recruitment & Selection, including but not limited to: writing job descriptions, interviewing candidates, facilitating psychometrics tests, conducing reference checks, preparing all associated administration with same and managing the on-boarding process for successful candidates.
  • Provide support to the HR Manager and take the lead on certain projects as advised on HR-wide initiatives including but not limited to communication, recruitment, selection and retention, on-boarding, learning and development, employee engagement, employee wellbeing and employee training.
  • Act as a point of contact for Managers and Staff on queries and promote a consistent approach to same.
  • Ensure company policies are updated and formulated in line with legislative changes.
  • Reporting and analysis of HR metrics and trends as required e.g. absence, turnover, overtime etc.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to fulfil the objectives of Enva. For example, HSE to ensure all training is provided in a timely matter.
  • Completion of all General Administration within the HR Department to ensure we are compliance ready at all times for both internal and external auditing (e.g. updating systems, employee files, training and development records etc).
  • To pro-actively contribute ideas towards continuous improvement within and outside the HR department at all times.
  • Promote a professional image of the HR team and to maintain the highest standards of integrity, security, confidentiality and trust at all times.
  • Carry out such other duties as may reasonably be requested by the Group HR Manager.


  • Possesses a ‘can do’ attitude and demonstrates initiative in relation to all aspects of their role.
  • Possesses knowledge of employment legislation and keeps up to date on same.
  • Actively participates in Continuing Professional Development to ensure best practices are delivered to the site.

  • Work within the instructions and procedures of the Company’s systems as directed by your Manager or other management as appropriate.

Education & Experience required for the Role:

  • Degree qualified in Human Resource or a related discipline and/ or CIPD member
  • Possess HR Generalist skills and a working knowledge of employment legislation
  • Has direct experience in Learning and Development
  • High level of attention to detail
