Internal Account Manager – Nottingham

We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic, ambitious and dynamic individual to join the Enva sales team and support us in growing the company’s market share both regionally and nationally.

Role 

  • A desk-based position to manage the relationships between the company and its broker customer accounts to achieve profitable revenue growth and retention of that business.   
  • Provide account management to a proportion of key customers in the Broker sector by managing their total waste, recycling, recovery, and ad-hoc requirements.   
  • To provide strategic development of the accounts through the planning process. 
  • Develop relationships with the relevant managers, buyers and other advocates to invigorate sales opportunities.   
  • Promote and develop Enva services to increase our regional market share. 
  • The role will also provide a level of internal support to our Account Managers and Sales teams by way of reporting and administrative functions where necessary.  
  • The role would suit someone looking for progression with customer service or internal account management experience. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all broker customer account management matters.
  • Provide customers with quotes and reports where necessary
  • Develop additional business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales targets.
  • Negotiate price increases to maximize profits.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Constantly promote the highest level of customer care, service and responsiveness.
  • Build long-term relationships with key employees among client base.
  • Schedule regular meetings with key account customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. sales, operations, HSEQ, finance) to meet customers’ requirements.
  • Maintain complete and accurate customer information in Enva’s customer database.
  • Work with operational, IT database analysts and sales support staff to ensure that optimum time is spent with each customer at the right level.
  • Help ensure the health and safety of all personnel within the company including yourself by your actions and reporting of issues by adhering to all company procedures
  • Assist credit control function to settle queries and manage aged debt of customer portfolio.
  • Keep records on CRM system of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of enquiries, complaints and comments, as well as actions taken.
  • Growth and retention of portfolio customers in accordance with targets set.
  • Meet targets for new revenue growth.
  • Process orders, forms and applications relating to customer accounts.
  • Manage monthly customer reporting as required.
  • Manage monthly internal reporting as required.
  • Ensure commodity rebate data is accurate and timely.
  • Constantly promote the highest level of customer care, service and responsiveness in all the work you do.
  • Improve overall customer relations to ensure that Enva becomes the customers’ primary point of call.
  • Ensure that all sales paperwork is received, processed and filed within agreed timescales

About You

The successful candidate will have proven customer relationship and account management experience with regional or national accounts.  You will be able to demonstrate that you have a record of achieving / exceeding targets.   A self confident, results driven individual, you will possess excellent communication skills and be able to manage and prioritise your workload effectively.

Enva England is the East Midlands leading Recycling and Resource Management company collecting and processing in excess of 500,000 tonnes waste per year, providing a comprehensive waste collection and recycling service to Industrial, Commercial, Construction and local Authority customers. We are proud to say that in excess of 95% of the waste is recycled.

We operate out of a 20 Acre site with in excess of 300 employees across our Nottingham and Leicester sites.
