The Laboratory Chemist participates in the analysis of inward, in-process, and outward materials, help to develop new or improved solutions, and share responsibility for general maintenance and calibration of Laboratory equipment and reagents.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • To carry out all laboratory testing according to procedures
  • To carry out laboratory calibrations according to procedures
  • To develop new processes and improve existing techniques
  • To help keep laboratory and equipment clean and tidy
  • To assist in carrying out laboratory responsibilities in the plant
  • To complete certain paperwork in a neat and tidy manner
  • Cover chemist duties at other sites in the Enva group

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • A university degree including Chemistry, or a minimum HNC/HND in Chemistry with industrial experience.
  • Ability to develop and communicate fresh ideas
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to relate well to colleagues
  • Capability of carrying out certain duties outside on plant
  • Drivers License
