Load Inspector

An opportunity has arisen for a Load Inspector to join the team based at our Newbridge site. This is a full-time, permanent role.

Reporting to the Depot Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for assessing the incoming loads, keeping records of loads, and completing the relevant paperwork.

Key Roles and Responsibilities will include:

• Assessment of incoming loads, ensuring they are as expected
• Recording incoming and outgoing loads, and completing relevant paperwork
• Managing traffic on site in line with traffic management plan
• Providing banksman service as required
• Any other ADHOC duties required, subject to correct training

The right candidate will demonstrate:

• Courteous and professional manner at all times – this role is customer facing 
• Understanding of waste and recycling streams, and the correct disposal avenues
• Ability to multi-task – at peak times there will be multiple vehicles requiring attention
• Computer literate – assessment and recording software is tablet based

Experience and Qualifications:

• FLT experience beneficial but not crucial
• Waste/Recycling experience required as a starting point for company specific training

Salary and Benefits:

• Earn up to £10.30 per hour
• 48 hours per week
• 26 days holiday + 4 statutory days
