Market Research Analyst

Reports to Group Marketing Director 

Location Flexible - home working or office if suitable location permits, some travel within UK/Ireland

Job Purpose

Due to continued growth, we have an exciting new vacancy for a Market Research Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will lead all market research activities across the Group.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyse data on customers, competitors and the marketplace and consolidate information into actionable items, reports, and presentations.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making, identify market trends, and improve competitiveness. 
  • Support with the identification of potential new markets for Enva’s existing product and service offerings.
  • Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis.
  • Provide competitive analysis on various companies' market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models.
  • Evaluate program methodology to ensure that data on the releases are accurate. 
  • Remain fully informed on market trends and implement best practices.
  • Support with the research required for potential acquisitions. 


  • Establish and maintain positive relations and communication channels with the following key interfaces:
  • Group Marketing Director 
  • Group Chief Commercial Officer
  • Executive Team 
  • Commercial Directors across the business 
  • Peer Group within Group Marketing 


  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar role 
  • A Degree in a business-related discipline 
  • Waste, recycling, or sustainability industry experience is an advantage, but is not a pre-requisite. 

Technical Competencies

• BS degree in Statistics, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills, knowledge of statistical packages and data collection methods.
• Highly organised and has a good attention to detail. 
• Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task.
• Excellent IT and administrative skills with a high competency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel 
• Familiarity with CRM programs
