Non-Key Account Manager 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Non-Key Account Manager to join our Account Management department. This is a full-time, permanent role. 

Reporting to the Head of Key Account Management, the successful applicant will have responsibility for the delivery of Enva’s account management strategy within the non key portfolio of accounts. This strategy is focused on the key objectives of industry expertise, added value, upsell and retention. The Non-Key Account Manager will manage a portfolio of SME accounts and will be expected to coordinate activity within the portfolio to deliver on key strategic objectives. 

Key Roles and Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage customer base with an annual spend of £1,000 - £100,000
  • Deliver the strategy of added value to regional accounts within their portfolio 
  • Work closely with other departments within Enva to improve the delivery of our strategic objectives
  • To be the first point of escalation for customer issues and be a key interface between the customer and Enva Operations for service development and issue resolution 
  • Answer customer queries (such as pricing) and identify new business opportunities with existing customers
  • Conduct periodic customer service review meetings 
  • Review customer management information for presentation both internally and externally to ensure consistency and quality of output 
  • Monitor and report on increases/decreases in revenue for accounts
  • Meet quarterly targets
  • Reduce skip/roro turnaround times at customer sites to ensure improved stock availability
  • Implement a robust retention strategy and manage account contract renewals 
  • Proactively address at risk customers ensuring that customer needs are met whilst maintaining an agreed level of profitability. This includes accounts whose revenue may be shrinking and accounts where contract price is no longer competitive
  • Initiate customer discussions around annual price rises and price negotiations where applicable
  • Manage end-to-end customer cancellations, negotiations, and retention within their portfolio of accounts 
  • Identify new business opportunities in line with upsell targets in their relevant portfolio
  • Identify opportunities to cross sell services provided by the wider Enva business. 

The right candidate will demonstrate:

  • The ability to develop strong working relationships with Customers, internal stakeholders such as Customer Service, Contract Coordination, Supply Chain, and Credit Control to ensure excellent levels of customer service
  • Proficiency in the use of our internal software systems, including CRM, Elemos, Power BI, My Enva and PIN
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Excellent planning & organizational skills
  • Ability to plan & prioritise workload
  • Self-confidence, enthusiasm and resilience.
Experience and Qualification
  • Proven Customer Relationship or Account Management experience
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
