Enva are looking for a Paint Shop Operative to work in the container Repairs department mainly painting containers and bins working 45 hours a week 0600-1600 with 1 hour for lunch.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of the paint shop are safe, compliant and efficient.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Perform power wash and other pre-painting activities on containers in preparation for painting/fabrication.
  • Repair damaged containers, including replacement of wheels and lids.
  • Apply a variety of industrial paint coatings to fabricated and repaired metal containers and ensure correctly branded prior to delivery to customers.
  • Suggest tools and equipment to improve the operation of the paint workshop.
  • Assist in the maintenance of a clean and safe work environment and observe good safety habits.
  • Adhere to all OSHA and HazMat Procedures with respect to the storage and handling of materials in the area.
  • Responsible for reporting malfunctions of equipment or processing.
  • Responsible for a small team of paint shop operatives.
  • Liaise daily with transport to ensure forward planning of container stock requirements.

The successful candidate will be experienced in working in a fast paced workshop environment. They will have good organisational skills and attention to detail. In addition they will be able to demonstrate an ability to prioritise work load to ensure customer demands are fully met.

Enva England is the East Midlands leading Recycling and Resource Management company collecting and processing in excess of 500,000 tonnes waste per year, providing a comprehensive waste collection and recycling service to Industrial, Commercial, Construction and local Authority customers.
