The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the water services business in accordance with company operating procedures through direct involvement in production.

Reporting to the Production Manager, responsibilities in this varied role will include the following- 

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

  • To produce a range of chemical products in accordance with SOPs and recipe make up book as effectively as possible in a safe and responsible manner eg detergents etc. 
  • To assist in the production of biological products eg bacteria, nitrifiers with good oversight from key scientist.
  • To understand and determine processing regime for entire product range, with support from onsite management.
  • To liaise with production management and scientist as and when required and to escalate issues or problems as they arise.
  • To report all faults encountered with equipment directly to site operation management team.
  • To operate process equipment according to standard operating procedures. 
  • To process orders when required and ensure labels and associated paperwork is correct.
  • To adhere to all company health and safety rules and procedures and proactively partake in the ‘’everyday a safe day’’ culture within Enva, paying particular attention to near miss reporting and participate actively in improving site HSE culture. 
  • Monthly health and safety reporting
  • Maintain raw material chemical stock consumable logs and to notify management as stocks approach low volume and request stock replenish orders

Key Requirements & Qualifications Desired:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a similar or related role desirable but not essential.
  • Forklift license qualification ideal but not essential as full training will be given.
  • A keen interest in science - chemical and biological product make-up would be beneficial.
  • To act courteously and communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, Enva personnel and other personnel encountered within your role
  • To always foster and develop good customer and public relations and to portray a professional image of the company
