Sales Administrator - The Role:

  • To act as administrative support to the Commercial Manager. This will involve handling all routine transactions and documentation (e.g. invoices, returns, reports etc.) relating to the businesses Oil Sales operation, as well as battery handling
  • To support the Finance Manager in other similar related areas of the business as appropriate
  • To co-ordinate and facilitate the related transport/delivery functions in order to satisfy committed sales
  • Liaising with customers, internal stakeholders and transport operators (internal and external) to ensure the smooth running of the business-critical operation.

Sales Administrator - Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales order handling and invoicing
  • Check data accuracy in orders and invoices
  • Delivery scheduling and co-ordination
  • Liaising with internal and external transport operators
  • Completion of statutory documentation
  • Customer liaison and expectations management
  • Report generation
  • Material ordering
  • Management of your own daily workflow to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy
  • Other duties as required to support the department

  • A flexible attitude to the team’s work, including a willingness to reprioritise and undertake additional tasks if required
  • Confident in dealing with customers / suppliers over the phone and on email
  • Strong PC and technical knowledge and skills with a good working knowledge of the Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Teams
