Soil Administration Officer

Portlaoise, IrelandPermanent, Full-time role based at our facility in Enva Portlaoise Facility at Clonminam Industrial Estate.

The main purpose of the role is to carry out a range of administrative, customer service, and accounting duties for the Enva Soil business utilising the existing internal software systems, working with the existing team of Project managers, finance, and compliance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Primary Duties:

  • To work as part of a team along with the Senior administrator based in Dublin, for administration duties including emails, data entry, customer communication, provision of reports/Pos, etc
  • To deal with accounts administration queries for the Soil division both internally and with the Enva group finance department
  • To work with other Enva divisions including the weighbridge, compliance, and general group requirements
  • To be first point of contact for phone calls/emails from outside clients and to deal with all responses in a polite, efficient and friendly manner
  • To deal with internal team queries and requests and to resolve same in a timely and efficient manner
  • To prepare information for month end accounts in a timely and efficient manner, as per Enva timelines/ deadlines
  • To take charge of reporting requirements for a large customer on set timelines per month including data collection from suppliers, data entry, and collation of reports.
  • To check and confirm all invoices relating to the Soil business are addressed using the correct internal finance tools and sign offs from the internal IT systems.
  • To manage and be the point of contact for key/ core customers

Systems:

  • To utilize and update systems on site including finance software and waste tracking systems.
  • To work with management to develop and modify these systems to increase accuracy and efficiency for the soil division.

Requirements:

  • High level of computer literacy required with strong working knowledge/ experience in Excel is essential
  • Flexible and agile working approach
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy required
  • 1 years’ plus experience in an administrative role desirable.
